How nice would it be not to have to worry about printing and mailing the year end contribution statements?  Through the Roll Call Connect add-on product, you can give your congregation the flexibility to log in to your Roll Call web portal to view their giving history as well as print off their own statement for tax purposes.

Online Access to Giving with Roll Call Connect

Here’s how it would work. Your church would create a link or button on your website that would take the congregation to the Roll Call Connect login page.

Login Screen for your DonorsEach donor in your congregation would need to create an account for the Roll Call Connect web portal. They would use the email address that you have on file for them.  They would click on the CREATE ACCOUNT tab and enter their email address.  They will receive an email with a link to set up their password.

My Giving summary in Roll Call ConnectOnce they are logged in, they can click or tap on the My Giving link. From this page, they will see a graph of their giving by fund as well as a bar chart of their giving totals by month.  As they scroll down the page, they’ll be able to view a list of each individual gift.


PDF Giving Statements

Above the graphs on this page (picture 2), they’ll have the option to view This Year or Last Year’s giving. There is also a button for PDF Statement.  When they tap or click on this button, a pdf file will be downloaded to their machine.  The year end giving statement will contain your organization information, the donors name and address, a summary of amounts given to each fund and a detail list of all contributions given for the selected time frame.  The bottom text is the bottom text as defined in your Roll Call Receipt section.


The Roll Call Connect web portal can also be used in a variety of other ways.  It’s great for your pastors and staff to be able to look up peoples contact information from home or the road on their smartphone.  They can even enter visitation notes or confidential comments if necessary.

Roll Call Connect also allows you to set up online giving.  Your staff or congregation can log onto the portal and make a one time gift or set up a recurring contribution.  As those contributions are entered, Roll Call is updated real-time.

The Connect web portal is also great for group leaders.  They’ll be able to log in and view their group rosters, send emails to their group members and even record attendance for group meetings.
